Carrie oversees the various components that give Yellow Wood Studio its soul. She is responsible for directing company strategy, as well as sourcing company ventures and new business. Carrie has a knack for building strong teams, identifying talent, and putting good people together in the same room.
Amanda Baker
Project Lead, Partner
Amanda leads the project design and directs brand strategy. She oversees all design projects through team coordination, project management, and design implementation, including a keen eye for FF&E and artwork. She brings expertise in creating hospitality environments with her background in hospitality and high-rise multifamily projects.
Heidi Somoza
Design Lead, Partner
Heidi drives our 3D visualization strategy, with production of creative deliverables. She is a master of 3D renderings and virtual reality environments. Heidi leads the design process by combining original concepts and unique products and materials into compelling presentations with her extensive knowledge of technology in design.
SEATTLE
Our team first met each in Seattle and has worked together in a multitude of settings from wonderful design firms, to a Silicon Valley startup and now as a women owned small business. Heidi and Amanda reside in Seattle and love the Northwest for it’s coffee culture and upscale sense of design.
NEW ORLEANS
As a team who follows our passions, Carrie’s passion took her to New Orleans where she Mastered in Historic Preservation Studies at Tulane University. We are constantly growing our skillset and are excited to offer this to clients. Advanced technology allows us to work remotely with each other and with clients across the country both efficiently and sensationally well.
